Liverpool shirt

Liverpool shirts, including signed liverpoolshirts and other memorabilia are all available to purchase from a variety of stores (see below). Liverpool, (nickname is "The Reds") were founded in 1892. They have played at Anfield ever since. In the early days, kit colours were blue and white, almost identical to that worn by Everton at the time. In 1894 Liverpool adopted red shirts with white shorts. Socks alternated between red, black and to white. In 1964 the manager Bill Shankly decided to send the team out in all red for the first time. Since that day, red has remained the team's colours for over 40 years. Traditionally, Liverpool's away colours are either white shirts and black shorts or all yellow. In 1987 an all grey kit was introduced and was used until 1991 when it was replaced with green shirts and white shorts. The 1990s, saw several combinations of gold and navy, bright yellow, black and grey. The 2000s have alternated between yellow with white each year.
